- Drs Webin Tan and Taixing Cui have received funding for their proposal "Pilot Project: CYLD as a therapeutic agent for SARS-COVID-2 spike protein-exacerbated myocardial damage" via Dr Igor Robinson's NIH-funded Center for Therapeutic Targets.
- Dr Jay Potts has received funding from the SC Research Authority for his proposal "Generation of Bioactive analogs of a neuropeptide, (a-CGRP) and its implications in cardiovascular disease."
