Fourth Annual Midlands Technical College (MTC) and University of South Carolina (USC) Direct Transfer Summit
About the Summit
Since 2021, USC and MTC have partnered to host an annual Direct Transfer Summit focused on strengthening collaboration and refining transfer pathways. Each year, faculty, academic advisors, and administrators from both institutions convene to examine current articulations, share insights, and develops strategies for improving the transfer journey for students.
Who Should Attend
Faculty, advisors, and administrators from MTC and USC who are involved in direct transfer track majors are encouraged to attend. We welcome all faculty who teach courses in these direct tracks as your perspectives on classroom demands, sequencing, and student preparedness are essential to fully align curricula and build smoother transitions. Likewise, advisors play a critical role in guiding students through these transfer tracks and ensuring that academic plans reflect accurate, up-to-date transfer information. Together, faculty and advising collaboration strengthens continuity between institutions and enhances the overall student experience.
Why Should You Attend
