Microsoft Copilot is an AI assistant built into Microsoft 365 that helps faculty and staff work more

for regulated research, as well as PII, HIPPA and FERPA information.
Microsoft Copilot allows user to quickly draft, summarize and organize content, refucing time spent
on tasks.
Faculty and Staff are elibale for an upgraded Copolit license. This license provides
access to things like AI Facilitator and additional Copilot integration across the Microsoft environment.
Microsoft Copilot features can be found across Micosoft 365 products like Word, Powerpoint,
Excel, and Outlook.
OpenAI
ChatGPT is a web-based artificial intelligence assistant capable of generating text, summarizing
content, brainstorming ideas, and supporting organization or planning.
