Getting to campus and moving in
Please use the ParkUSC app as you arrive to campus and go to your residence hall. The app will not only give you the best route to get to your move-in area but also where to park once you're done unloading.
Residents living in Greek Village should connect directly with their property manager to learn more about move-in logistics and details. Women participating in Panhellenic sorority recruitment must be registered for recruitment no later than July 15 to participate and be eligible for early move-in on Aug. 8.
As you're packing to come to USC, remember to bring your items in plastic bins or reusable containers to avoid any potential trash or waste. If you do need to throw away items or put things in to a recycling container, there will be clearly marked dumpsters around outside your residence hall.
There will be water bottle filling stations set up around campus at the following locations: Longstreet Theatre, the Horseshoe, Melton Observatory, McKissick, Capstone and two at the Blatt PE Center.
Package, parking permit and course material pickup
Student package pickup begins accepting shipments for Fall 2025 beginning August 1. All mail and package pickup for Fall 2025 move-in will be at the Blatt PE Center on August 16. The post office will be closed Aug. 17 and will reopen at the Russell House Aug. 18.
Parking permits will be availalbe for purchase online beginning July 7. Students who order permits before July 31 can have it mailed to them. Any permits ordered after July 31 will be available for pickup at the parking sales office at 411 Huger St.
Once you get settled in your room, course materials and school supplies can be picked up at the USC campus store located on the first floor of the James F. Byrnes Building across from the Horseshoe.
