The charge of the Committee on Administrative, Academic, and Student Services Assessment (CAASSA) is to foster an institutional climate that assures and improves the operational efficiencies and quality of services provided by administrative, academic, and student services support units. The Committee is charged with the following activities:
- Promoting a comprehensive assessment process for administrative, academic, and
student services support units that is ongoing, systematic, and sustainable. - Liaising with preparers and reviewers of administrative, academic, and student
services support unit Blueprints and the Office of Institutional Research,
Assessment, and Analytics (OIRAA). - Making recommendations on the tools, policies, and procedures governing the
assessment of administrative, academic, and student services support units. - Assisting and advising Blueprint preparers, reviewers, and decision makers within
one’s division in the development and implementation of meaningful assessment
initiatives that consider available financial resources and that are tied to the
University’s strategic priorities.
