Student Health and Well-Being

Wellness Services

We are dedicated to supporting your well-being by offering resources, guidance, and wellness education in our appointment-based services. We are here to help you thrive throughout your time at USC.

Services

Nutrition Consultations

Any student can make an appointment to meet for a free one-on-one nutrition consultation with our Registered Dietician. Initial nutrition appointments may involve gathering a health history, reviewing the food record form, discussing medical nutrition interventions or education, and behavior change guidance.

Our dieticians use Health at Every SizeTM principles and will not make weight loss a goal.

Cooking Workshops
Cooking Workshops are offered throughout the semester to students and campus groups. These take place in our demonstration kitchen.

Counseling & Eating Disorder Care
People with eating disorders can come in any shape or size. We have a team of health care providers here to help if you're struggling with your eating habits or your relationship with food. For more information or to make an appointment, visit Counseling and Psychiatry.

STI Consultations
The sexual health office offers free virtual and in-person consultations for students who are interested in STI testing or want to discuss sexual health questions and concerns. To schedule an appointment for free consultation, call 803-576-6558 or visit MyHealthSpace.

If you are experiencing symptoms related to an STI, please schedule an appointment with Women’s Health or Primary Care to receive treatment.

STI Testing
Our in-house lab tests for:
• HIV (Testing should take place two weeks after exposure)
• Chlamydia (Testing should take place two weeks after exposure)
• Gonorrhea (Testing should take place two weeks after exposure)
• Syphilis (RPR) (Testing should take place three months after exposure)
