Research Interests

Kimberly Yanek, PhD, PCIC, serves as a Co-Director, Technical Assistance School Behavioral Health Team a the University of South Carolina and Implementer Partner with the Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). She assists with large-scale implementation of MTSS/PBIS; partners with researchers to evaluate the impact of PBIS on students, school staff, and school communities. She also co-leads the Center on PBIS Workgroup that supports Classroom Systems and Students with Disabilities.  Kimberly has been published in the areas of classroom systems, students with disabilties, FBA/BIP, and educator wellness. Her current areas of interests focus on healthy systems and comprehensive coaching approaches to support transformation.
