Our teaching and research are united by feminist methodologies and critical inquiry but also by themes – power and privilege, agency, the construction and negotiation of identities, and the importance of marginalized voices. We bring our research into our own classrooms and begin new research projects that are inspired by student interest.
Dr. Blanchette’s Teaching
Dr. Blanchette teaches interdisciplinary courses in gender, sexuality, and equity, with a focus on contemporary feminist issues (e.g., technology, abolition) and social psychological processes.
