Background

In her role, Brytnee serves as the college’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing budget development, financial planning, and compliance with budget-related policies. She collaborates with College budget and unit staff to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Additionally, she serves as the Chief Operating Officer, managing information technology and facilities operations. Her responsibilities also include overseeing human resources and acting as a liaison with the central Budget Office to support senior management decision-making.

Prior to joining the College of Education, Brytnee served as the Assistant Dean of the College of Information and Communications at the University of South Carolina and as the Business and Operations Director in the School of Business at the College of Charleston.

When not at work, Brytnee loves traveling and spending time with her husband, children, friends, and family.

Personal

Brytnee is a graduate of the College of Charleston and Columbia College. She loves to travel, watch college football, and spend time with family and friends.  Brytnee has a son Cayde and a daughter Chapel.
