Orientation

The USC Joseph F. Rice School of Law looks forward to welcoming the Law Class of 2029 to the School of Law community for orientation!

Welcome to the South Carolina Law community!

Our New Student Orientation program is designed to introduce you to the legal profession, familiarize you with the expectations of this academic and professional community, and equip you with the study skills to “hit the ground running” on your first day of class. You’ll also have plenty of time to get to know classmates, your peer mentors, and the faculty and staff who will be an integral part of your law school experience.

Orientation for the Class of 2029 will take place Tuesday, August 11 - Friday, August 14.

All incoming students will receive information throughout the summer about the Orientation schedule.

Please note: Participation in Orientation programming is mandatory for all incoming students.
