TJ Bettineschi joined the University of South Carolina Bands as Administrative Assistant in Fall 2026. A lifelong lover of collegiate athletics and spirit programs, TJ brings several years of experience in higher education, athletics and student development. Previously, she served as Spirit Coordinator and Head Cheerleading Coach at Austin Peay State University, where she oversaw the university’s cheer, dance and mascot programs. Prior to Austin Peay, TJ served as Spirit Coordinator and Student Success Coach at Long Island University. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Mississippi and completed her Master’s Degree at Stony Brook University.
