Level Three Experiential Learning
In order to complete Level Three Certification, you must complete the Experiential component which includes the items below:
- Have 600 academic advising appointments since beginning advising at USC
- Use EAB Navigate to enter appointment notes & summarize meetings with students
- Use the Degree Works to enter the advised course plan and other curricular information
- Attend two approved in-person advisor training professional development series events
- Research a career in the area you advise
- Develop a Personal Philosophy of Academic Advising statement
Level Three Rewards
Advisors who successfully complete both components of Level Three receive a Certificate of Completion and are eligible to choose from the list of Level Three Rewards below.*
- One-year membership to the National Academic Advising Association (new membership or renewal)
