Background
Leslie Hendrix is a clinical professor in the Darla Moore School of Business, Department
                                 of Management Science, at the University of South Carolina. She received her Ph.D.
                                 in statistics and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina. 
Prior to joining the Moore School, she was an instructor in the Department of Statistics
                                 in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Carolina. She served
                                 as the coordinator for a large service course, Introduction to Statistical Reasoning,
                                 and also taught several courses per semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
                                 She became a leader and innovator for creating best practices in teaching large lecture,
                                 including classroom atmosphere, attendance, and academic integrity.  Hendrix developed
                                 and taught a very popular, fully online course and taught other courses for specific
                                 disciplines, including pre-med and business students. She enjoyed working on statistical
                                 projects in all disciplines with students, colleagues, and community organizations
                                 and businesses. 
Research
Hendrix's research interests include Psychometrics - Item Response Theory, Posterior Predictive Model Checking, Multidimensional Testing Data Analysis, Markov Chain Monte Carlo; Statistical Education; Distributed Learning/Distance Education; Large Lecture Pedagogy.
