Background

Madeline Marco Scanlon is an assistant professor of finance at the Darla Moore School of Business. She earned her Ph.D. in finance from the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science in finance from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA, a BS in actuarial science, and a BSBA in finance from Robert Morris University. Madeline's research interests focus on empirical corporate finance with applications in political economy and labor economics. Her work has been featured in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. Previously, she taught finance courses at the Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
