Background

Cataldo is a Sumter native and was a standout softball player at Sumter High School.  Cataldo was recruited by and played softball for USC Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C. under Coach Chris Hawkins. At USC Sumter, she served as Head Softball Coach for several years before taking on the role of Director of Athletics.

Cataldo has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., a Master of Science in College Athletic Administration from Coker College in Hartsville, S.C., and a Ph.D. in Education Leadership from National University.
