Biography
Ms. Catherine Rhea is a native of S.C. who began as the Clinical Coordinator of the Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University Of South Carolina School Of Medicine in January of 2017. She earned her Master’s degree in Biomedical Science with Specialization in Nurse Anesthesia from this program in 2000. From 2000 to the present, Ms. Rhea has practiced as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Prisma Health Richland, specializing in pediatrics and being a clinical instructor of the Student Nurse Anesthetist Residents. In addition, she is an active member of the S.C. Association of Nurse Anesthetist, currently serving on the Board as Secretary. Ms. Rhea will be beginning her Doctorate work starting May 2018.
