The South Carolina Assistive Technology Program is located in the Poplar Building at the Midlands Center, 8301 Farrow Road in Columbia. We invite you to come to our office for device demonstrations, tours, trainings and workshops. 

Driving Directions

Expand allFrom the Upstate (driving eastbound on Interstate 26)

1. Take Interstate 20 East toward Florence (Exit 107B).
2. Drive about 8 miles.
3. Follow directions below for “From Interstate 20.“

From the Lowcountry (driving westbound on Interstate 26)

1. Take Interstate 77 North toward Charlotte (Exit 116).
2. Follow directions below for “From Interstate 77.“

From Interstate 20

1. Take Exit 72, Farrow Road (state Route 555).
2. Go north (left) on Farrow Road.
3. Go about 1½ miles (pass Crafts Farrow and the State Credit Union).
4. See a green sign on the right that says “Midlands Center.”
5. Turn left at the entrance to Midlands Center onto MC Azalea Avenue.
6. Stay on Azalea.
7. Pass Crape Myrtle Drive on the left and MC Evergreen Drive on the right.
8. Turn left onto MC Poplar Drive.
9. Go in the entrance of the Developmental Pediatric Clinic.
10. The AT Resource Center is across the hall from the waiting room – Room A 128.

From Interstate 77

1. Take Exit 19, Farrow Road (state Route 555).
2. Head south (right) on Farrow Road.
3. Go through the light at Parklane (Waffle House on the left).
4. Go through a traffic light at Pisgah Church Road.
5. Almost immediately, see a green sign on the right that says “Midland Center.”
6. Turn right at the entrance to Midlands Center onto MC Azalea Avenue.
7. Stay on Azalea.
8. Pass Crape Myrtle Drive on the left and MC Evergreen Drive on the right.
9. Turn left onto MC Poplar Drive.
10. Go in the entrance of the Developmental Pediatric Clinic.

From 277

1. Take the Parklane Road Exit.
2. Turn left at the top of the ramp onto Parklane.
3. Cross the railroad tracks and turn left onto Farrow Road (state Route 555).
4. Go through a traffic light at Pisgah Church Road.
5. Almost immediately, see a green sign on the right that says “Midland Center.”
6. Turn right at the entrance to Midlands Center onto MC Azalea Avenue.
7. Stay on Azalea.
