Biography

Stephany Smith is the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia. She first joined the School of Medicine as a project manager, where she led a range of initiatives within Undergraduate Medical Education and the Office of Student Affairs and Career Advising. Stephany brings more than twelve years of leadership experience from both the non-profit sector and the University of South Carolina’s Center for Child and Family Studies. Her professional expertise spans project management, process optimization, cross-team collaboration, strategic planning, financial management, and continuous quality improvement. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
